The CCC was initially organized in 2023 to monitor the implementation of Pennsylvania Act 114 of 2022, which established the Pennsylvania Advisory Committee on Greater Father Involvement within the Joint State Government Commission (JSGC) and providing for its powers and duties. Governor Tom Wolf signed H.B. 1731, Printer’s Number 2953, on November 3, 2022, creating the Act.

With Continued Support from our State Government Leaders, Change Will Come

Rev. Dr. W. Wilson Goode, Sr. Former Mayor of the City of Philadelphia

Leaders of the CCC share a Vision for fathers of the future who are fully included in the parenting of children of all ages, which will be the standard and will no longer be viewed as exceptional.

In Remembrance of David A Wyher
(January 17, 1949 – November 30. 2022)

Dave was a kind man, with a sharp wit; a patient father; a loving husband; a wise advisor, a trusted friend, and a devoted servant of God, he shared a collective vision with that of The Strong Families Commission’s Community of Advocates who advanced the concept of promoting greater father-family involvement in the lives of children, caregivers of children, and the communities in which our children learned to interface with those outside of their family structure.
